While our trusted operator works diligently through the licensing process with DCFS, enrollment for the Shimer Square Early Childhood Development Center cannot officially begin until full approval is granted, anticipated by December 2025 or January 2026 (hopefully sooner!).
In the meantime, GROWTH is maintaining our preliminary waitlist for families interested in childcare at Shimer Square. By joining the waitlist, you’ll be the first to receive important updates as the operator advances through the state’s licensing requirements.
Enrollment will be managed exclusively by the operator and can only begin once all requirements are fully approved by DCFS.
